KOMF and the Ministry of Justice in Kosovo have signed today a Cooperation Agreement to monitor the implementation of the execution of measures and convictions given to minors from the Kosovo Probation Service and Kosovo Correctional Service.
The aim of this Cooperation Agreement is the provision of analysis and recommendations from KOMF for the Ministry of Justice, through monitoring of the implementation of execution of measures and convictions given to minors from the Kosovo Probation Service and Kosovo Correctional Service. All this information will be used to contribute in the field of protection of minors, in accordance with the legislation in force.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed by KOMF Executive Director – Donjetë Kelmendi and the Deputy Minister of Justice – Lirak Çelaj.
This Agreement will strengthen the cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and KOMF on child protection issues, aiming the joint contribution toward the best interest of minors who have violated the law.
