The report’s main recommendations are: to prioritize child welfare, to evaluate the eventual impact of costs reduction for children policies and services, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of EU structural funds to combat child poverty and to involve non-government organizations in the development and analysis of policies on local, regional and national level. The National Network for Children has contributed to the research by analyzing the situation in Bulgaria and recommended to prioritize the prevention and early intervention services, as well as family support.
